Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- Humanised text will pass any specific AI detector, plagiarism checker, or institutional review.
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
- AI detection scores will be accurate in all cases.
Results vary depending on the text, the detector used by your institution, and model updates. We make no guarantees about academic outcomes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand and Australian law, UncheckDoc and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, academic standing, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim, or NZD $50, whichever is greater.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UncheckDoc and its operators from any claim, damage, loss or expense (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third party's rights.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Zealand, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in Australia require otherwise.
12. Changes to These Terms
